What a weekend!

First, on Friday night, I finally found my thumb! It was surprising and exciting at the same time; it also calmed me down and made me pretty happy and content for about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I still am not very good at getting that stinkin' thumb out of my fist, but now that I know I like it, I try even harder to get it out : )

Saturday morning Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. They "say" it was to take Mommy out to breakfast for her birthday, but I know that they REALLY came to see me. After a little catnap in the morning, I decided to show off for Grandma. She got to see my smiles, hear all my sounds, and experience a little bit of my "flail time" - that's when I don't want to be held, but just want to move my arms and legs as much as I can.

Then on Sunday I got to spend the day with Daddy while Mommy went out of town with some friends from church. I was so good for Daddy that he may get to do more days like this so Mommy can have some time away every once in awhile. I "talked" to Daddy a lot and gave him lots of smiles. I also took a bottle pretty well from him twice in a row! I love to spend time with my Daddy.
