I love being outside!

Mommy and I like to go for walks together. A few weeks ago I would sleep through most of them, but now I like to look around while Mommy walks around the neighborhood. It's started to get a little cold here - it was in the low 40s this morning! - so I got all bundled up in my pink hat and jacket before we went outside. I was nice and warm in my stroller, but I think Mommy got a little cold.

I also have really started to like standing. I'm VERY wobbly with it, but as long as Mommy or Daddy is holding me up by the chest or the hands, I can work on those leg muscles for a long time. Even though it looks like I'm trying to take a step in this picture, I'm not. It's going to be awhile before I can control all of those body parts to make walking easy. Mommy and Daddy knew I was a strong baby, but I don't think they realized how fast I was going to want to use some of these muscles for more than kicking and squirming.

Sometimes I will even smile and talk while I'm standing now ... that means it doesn't take quite as much concentration to do either one anymore.

Speaking of talking, I LOVE to have conversations with Daddy when he comes home from work. Usually after I have my dinner, he and I lay on the bed or the floor together and I tell him all about my day. It's a lot of fun!
