My captive audience

I wonder if I'll be an educator when I grow up; it looks like I'm starting kind of early, doesn't it? Maybe being a teacher is in my blood ... you know, since all four of my grandparents were teachers at some point, as well as Mommy ...

We all had a pretty low-key weekend this time around. Mommy and Daddy had a lot of things around the house that they had to do to get ready for the cold weather. Having me around definitely made the process of hauling firewood into the house a bit different that it had been in years past! A bit more coordination and a lot more time :)

My new "tricks" these days are that I can sit up pretty well when I'm propped in the corner of a couch or chair. I also like to pull myself up into more of a sitting position when I'm in my carseat or in my chair. I also can grab onto my feet when I'm lying on my back; I even pull my socks off!

This week for Thanksgiving Mommy, Daddy and I are going to Iowa on Thursday to get together with Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Boehm, Grandma and Grandpa Mischnick, the Navurskis family, and some other relatives. It should be an exciting few days!
