Mommy and Daddy are often amazed at how fascinated I can become at simple everyday objects. Pieces of paper at church, Mommy's glass at mealtimes, the tag on a toy ... all these things are so fun for me! Of course, most of these new things make it straight to my mouth so Mommy and Daddy have to be especially vigilant with what is within reach.
Another part of life that is fascinating for me these days are our cats. I seem to sense when one of them comes into the room I'm in, even if I can't see them, and get really excited, hoping that the kitty will come and visit me. I have special sounds that I save just for them, maybe I'm already bi-lingual? Shadow is such a good friend for me, letting me pet her - or give her some "deep tissue massages", as Daddy says. Pounce, on the other hand, usually runs away whenever I'm close.
Saturday Mommy was able to get rid of some more old stuff at our house. We got rid of some more furniture and also went to a bookstore to sell a bunch of Mommy and Daddy's old textbooks. (whew! No more organic chemistry books at our house!) While at the bookstore, Mommy found some fun books for me, too ... she's such a sucker for good deals on books :)
