a tooth?

That's right! My first tooth started popping through on Saturday. Mommy and Daddy weren't quite sure that's exactly what was happening until church yesterday when Mommy felt that sharp little guy as I munched on her finger! Now all those sleep problems I was having last week make a bit more sense :) We all think that tooth number two is pretty close to showing itself as well, since that part of my gum is just about as swollen as the area around my first tooth.

I've been having SO much fun lately! Last week I had two, that's right, TWO, play dates and, boy, were they fun. I just love other people who are about my size. It's takes me a little while to warm up to them, but once I do, I just smile and laugh and want to touch them. Emily and I played with each other's hands while Sadie and I (sort of) gave each other a hug.

I've gotten pretty good lately at saying "ba" and can even manage "ma" sometimes, too. It's kind of fun for Mommy and Daddy to watch because I pull that lip in really far and then start making noises before the lip comes out and I say "ba".


I had a riot last night watching myself in the mirror. When I saw my reflection, I'd smile, then I'd see the smile, which made me just crack up. Then I'd get all serious again before I'd start the routine again. I had fun doing this for about 10 minutes!

These are just a few of the things that Daddy, Mommy, and I enjoy doing together :) What fun we have!
