Sitting and standing

Sorry for the delay in updating you on my life. We've had a few REALLY early mornings lately (5 a.m. early!) and Mommy has had to take naps with me again in the afternoon. Mommy and Daddy think this second tooth of mine is really bugging me these days which, hopefully, is playing into my sleep struggles. (Mommy thinks she can even see the white of it through my gums - maybe it's almost here!)

Besides giving Daddy and Mommy an early morning wakeup call, some of my favorite activities now are sitting and standing. I'm pretty good at both, actually, and can even get out of the sitting position sometimes by leaning over and rolling onto my tummy. Last night I was standing in front of Daddy and only holding onto his shirt for balance. Pretty fun for me, but also hard work!

I got to see Grandpa and Grandma Mischnick this past weekend; we drove up on Friday and came back Sunday. I had such a fun time and, of course, enjoyed being the center of attention again. The only bad thing about the trip was how COLD it was - why did Mommy and Daddy decide to go NORTH during one of the coldest weekends of the winter?!?! Because of the cold, we had a really hard time getting the car started to come home on Sunday. For me, that just meant I got to spend some more time cuddled in Grandma's arms :)

Well, we're off to our story time at the library. Horray!
