Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Even though I'm not Irish, I'm sporting my great St. Patrick's Day t-shirt from "Aunt" Jean. I think she's trying to recruit me into being Irish :) As you can see here, I'm clapping because I'm excited about the day (or the shirt, or life, or whatever-I clap a lot these days.)

On Saturday we went to Josh's first birthday party. I had a good time but, unfortnately, didn't get to try the cake. I think Daddy and Mommy are holding off on giving me sweets as long as they can :)

Sundays in our family are always a bit hectic. With church and then Sunday School in the morning, I'm usually pretty wiped out by the time we get home. Yesterday I managed to get in a decent afternoon nap before we headed back to church for Bible Study. Even though it's tiring, I enjoy seeing all the babies my age both at Sunday School and at Bible Study.

Yesterday I got a bit scared during church because one of the special vases they were using for Palm Sunday tipped over and broke. Of all the dozens of kids in church who heard it, I was the only one who was frightened enough to start crying ... I wonder what that says about my personality. No lasting worries, though; Mommy got me calm pretty quick.

Some of the big news in our home the past few days has been the relatively warm weather (okay, so 40 degrees may not sound warm to some of you, but it certainly is for us!). Mommy thought it was nice enough last Thursday to bundle me up and take me to the park for my first experiences with the baby swing (I was still too little for it last fall). After a bit of hesitation at first, I decided that I LOVE to swing, giving Mommy all kinds of giggles and laughs while I was swinging and then crabbing quite a bit when she finally took me out (our faces were getting cold and we needed to head home). Since Thursday, I've been back to the park with Mommy and Daddy twice and have just LOVED the swing each time. These fun park experiences are having Mommy look forward to spring even more!

Did you know that doing laundry is tiring?
