Visiting friends and family :)

Daddy and I had a great weekend together for our "daddy-daughter" time. Mommy left at 7 a.m. on Saturday and didn't get back until 7 p.m. on Sunday! Daddy and I had so much fun playing at home, going to church, and even going to Menards together. Daddy said I was a wonderful baby who had all of her bottles, took good naps, and ate my solids well for him. I think we were both missing Mommy by the end, though.

This week has been a good one. Mommy and I went to play with Eli and his older brother, Paul, on Tuesday. I think Eli enjoyed having me over and we all know that I enjoyed playing with someone my size.

Yesterday Mommy and I went over to Grafton to visit Aunt Miriam, Uncle Chris, and cousins Mark and Nate. How fun was that?!?! I managed very well with an earlier morning nap and a later afternoon nap, especially since I had lots of new things to play with and people to watch. Mommy was appreciative that I slept almost the whole way there and the whole way home ... what good timing!

My cousins loved seeing me. Mark kept bringing me toys and books while Nate was a little unsure of me at first, but soon felt comfortable enough to tackle. I think I'm going to be able to hold my own with my boy cousins :)

My only meltdown point was when we first arrived and Mark wanted to show Mommy some things in his new room. Mommy left me alone for a few minutes and when Uncle Chris came close to say hi, I kind of lost it. Too many new things without Mommy's familiar face kind of scares me. After that, though, I was just fine :)

Today and tomorrow we're going to lay low here at home. Mommy has a bunch of things to catch up on and I'm looking forward to playing with my own toys for a bit. Oh, I almost forgot! I can clap now! Hooray!
