My first series of vaccinations were not fun! I was even awakened from a good nap to get them :( I wish Mommy could have gotten a good picture of my pouty lip to show you all; it would probably remind a lot of you of Mommy when she was little.
Besides that part of my two-month check up, everything else was just fine. The best, and biggest, news was how much I've grown. Mommy and Daddy thought I was getting a lot bigger, but I don't think even they guessed how much! As most of you know, I was only 6 lbs. 6 oz. when I was born, and had even dropped to 6 lbs. 1 oz. by the time I left the hospital. Now, only 8 1/2 weeks later, I'm a whopping 11 lbs. 2 oz.! That's 60th percentile on the growth charts! I think I'm going to make the goal of doubling my weight by the time I'm six months ... what do you think? I was also pretty short when I was born, being only 18 1/2 inches long. Now I'm 23 1/2 inches; that's 88th percentile on the growth charts! Looks like I'm already a tall and skinny girl :) I wonder what Mommy has been feeding me to make me grow so fast ... hmmm ...
After all that excitment this morning at the doctor's, I was pretty wiped out. I hope Mommy lets me take a good, long nap this afternoon. Then maybe I'll get some more baby tylenol if I'm not feeling the best after all my shots this morning. So far they haven't bothered me too much, except for the initial poke. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
