My first trip!

This weekend was lots of fun with Grandpa and Grandma Mischnick! I did so well on the whole trip; everyone was impressed, including Mommy and Daddy.

On Friday night, the car ride got a little long and I got a bit crabby for the last 1/2 hour, but that's not bad considering the trip took a bit longer than Mommy and Daddy had hoped with the yucky construction traffic.

Saturday we had a great time, including an afternoon out and about on a beautiful autumn day in Northern Wisconsin. We went to an Ojibewa museum that had a wild rice demonstration. Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa and Grandma all learned a lot, while I just enjoyed watching things and being the center of attention :) (there aren't too many babies around where Grandpa and Grandma live so everyone wanted to say hi to me). After the museum, we enjoyed ourselves walking through the woods and enjoying the pretty colors on all the trees.

On Sunday, I was again the center of attention at church :) Everyone commented on how good of a baby I was ... I like to show off when I go new places ...

I also got comfortable enough at Grandpa and Grandma's house to give them lots of smiles and chatter on Saturday night and Sunday morning; they love me so much! (Daddy was taking some "extreme close-up" pictures of me that he thought would be funny; this is one of the better ones.)

The whole weekend was quite an adventure for me, though, and I ended up sleeping almost the entire car ride home! That was okay with Mommy and Daddy, since they got to listen to the Green Bay Packers game on the radio instead of listening to me fuss :)
