... that's not a picture of me! I think Shadow and Pounce are feeling more comfortable with me lately and a little less loved than before I came along! This past week Mommy and I have come home from outings to find Shadow sitting or sleeping in MY bouncy chair. Can you believe her?! I suppose it is a good place to rest and look outside, for me and for cats :) Oh well, I suppose I'll need to learn how to share eventually and this is a good time to start. I just didn't think I'd have to share with the cats! This week has been a pretty busy one for Mommy and me. On Tuesday we traveled to Weyauwega to help Aunt Miriam start packing. Well, actually, I slept and watched my cousins while Mommy helped pack and played with cousin Mark and cousin Nate. Nate was kind enough to share his bouncy seat and his play pen with me and both of my cousins kept coming over to say hi to me and wanting to play with me. It was such a tiring day, though, that I slept the whole way home, plus another 45 minutes when we got home! Again, we were all so busy that Mommy forgot to take any pictures.
On Wednesday Mommy and I went to a lap sit story time at the local library. I had so much fun! I smiled at the doggy puppet that came to say hi and welcome me. I also was smiley at the librarian when she was singing the name song with my name. We read books together with the other babies and played with some of the other puppets. At the end, I loved laying on my tummy and looking at a colorful book. Mommy and I are really going to enjoy this time together.
After a mini-nap on Wednesday, Mommy and I went to her former school to help celebrate "Aunt" Jean's birthday. Wow, I was the center of attention again! This time, instead of just seeing the teachers, I also got to meet some of Mommy's former students. They were REALLY excited to meet me. Luckily for Mommy, even though I was very tired, I was a model baby who just smiled at people and took in all of the new experiences.
I'm glad that today and tomorrow are easier days. This way I can catch up on my sleep to make sure that I keep growing and learning.By the way, my baths are getting more and more fun ;)
