On Saturday we went to Lake Kegonsa State Park and walked around on a trail that went through the woods. I got to face outwards in my carrier and had such a good time looking at all of the nature around me. Then we hung out in the shade on a blanket before we all played in the playground for a bit. It was lots of fun, but, boy, was I tired afterwards!Then on Sunday, we went on a fall outing with some friends after church. I was actually tired to start off the day since I stayed awake for ALL of church (my first time for that!) before I zonked out in Daddy's arms during Sunday School. For the trip, we went to an apple orchard to have a picnic lunch and buy some yummy apples. Then we went to Devil's Lake State Park and hung out for a bit before going for a walk along the lakeshore. What beautiful colors there were everywhere around me. Again, it was so exciting I didn't want to take a nap at all when we were outside!
Like I said, today I'm a bit crabby because I'm still tired. Thank goodness Mommy and I are going to just stick around here today so I can get caught up on my sleep. Oh! I almost forgot! Mommy figured out how to print out these blog entries so that I can see them when I'm older. It turns out that the comments print out, too, so it's always fun to hear from you!
