I can kind of sit up now, but I get a little frustrated when I want to reach for something and yet still need my arms to help me balance. I'm sure I'll get it figured out one of these days. Did you know that it is REALLY tiring sitting up?
Of course, when I get tired I want to suck my thumb but since I can't yet get my hand up to my mouth when I'm sitting, I just get my mouth down to my hand. Unfortunately, that's not a very comfortable position.Today we're getting ANOTHER snow storm! Can you believe it?! School's were closed, events were cancelled, and I'm going to miss out on a play date this afternoon with Emily, a member of our church who is only 2 weeks younger than me and who was baptized the same day as I was. Maybe Mommy and Emily's mommy will figure out when to reschedule ... I hope so!

Lastly, I wanted to tell you how much I like to chew on things now. Not just put in my mouth to suck and explore, I mean really chew! I don't have any teeth yet, but Daddy and Mommy think that "something" must be happening in my mouth because of how I chew now. We'll just have to wait and see if I'm like Daddy (and get teeth early) or like Mommy (and get teeth late) or maybe I'll be somewhere in between :)
