Both Daddy and I are relatively over our colds now ... yay! Since we're feeling better, we get to play together a lot more in the evenings. What energy Daddy has for me after work!
Grandma stopped by for visits on Friday and Tuesday on her way to and from Ft. Wayne to visit Great-Grandma. We had a lot of fun together.
Mommy thinks Grandma might have even had more fun than I did :) It was good to see her, though, and show of my new talents.
Speaking of new talents, my biggest thing these days is that I don't exactly stay in one place anymore. I'm not crawling, but if Mommy lays me on my back, I roll over and start twisting and scooting all around. Even when I'm sitting, I can manage to scoot forward a bit, especially if I'm reaching for some fun toys. Mommy is going to have a big wake-up call when I actually do start crawling; I'm going to want to be in to EVERYTHING!
We had a good week last week with our first trip to story time in a few weeks and then a play-date with Sadie. Mommy and I also went to church together on Wednesday night (Daddy was still sick), and I just LOVED seeing all the other families around. Tonight will actually be the first Lenten service we'll be able to go to as a whole family ... now that there's not a snowstorm and no one here is sick :)
The big event from the weekend was that Mommy, Daddy, and I went out to get my next size carseat and some more safety features for the house. They both figured that it's better to have these items ready to go instead of waiting until I need them and then having to rush out at the last minute. I'm sure there will still be those trips, though, as they realize exactly what "baby-proofing" means :)
