This has definitely been the worst cold of my life so far, and I think we all hope that I don't have another one like it anytime soon. I'm FINALLY starting to feel better (although I still sound like I have laryngitis) after about 5 days of just feeling under the weather. I had great, deep coughs, a runny nose, a fever, and simply didn't feel like myself. Mommy and Daddy were commenting this morning that they have seen more smiles from me just today than they had in almost a week! So, needless to say, we haven't done too much here in our house lately. In fact, we were snowed/rained in (AGAIN) yesterday since church was cancelled. Mainly I've been vegging out with Mommy or Daddy, reading books or watching Sesame Street. Did you know that it's hard to get a baby to "rest"? Unfortunately, Daddy appears to have caught my cold and is home from work today trying to recover. Hopefully he'll get over it faster than I did!
On a side note, since I scoot backwards on my tummy these days I can get into some pretty interesting "stuck" positions.
Finally, one positive for seeing the doctors this past week was that I got to be weighed "officially" again. Turns out I'm packing on the pounds again and am just over 18 pounds ... almost 3 times what I was when I left the hospital!
