Another cold, another party

This time Mommy brought the stuffy nose and coughs into our house. She was pretty miserable last week; then I've had a rough weekend in terms of how I've been feeling; and now Daddy's starting to have a bit of a scratchy throat now, too. Oh, well, right? We all decided that the worst part for everyone was Saturday night when I was pretty "croupy" again, needing help from Mommy and/or Daddy a LOT throughout the night. We all took yesterday "off" so we could catch up on some rest.

In the midst of all this, we had Daddy's birthday party here on Saturday evening. I had so much fun (so did Mommy and Daddy), but we think that might be why I was such a mess overnight.

Mommy was very impressed that I didn't fuss about not seeing her or Daddy much during the party, but I suppose I had plenty of other people, kids and adults, to entertain me :)

Besides these things, my favorite activity these days is to play with my books. After a bit of teaching on Mommy's part, I learned that it's okay to take them off my shelf and play with them as long as I don't put them in my mouth. Now when I'm playing in the living room, I usually manage to work my way over to my books to play with them :)


Well, I should get some rest. I'm still pretty tired and crabby today. Runny noses are NOT fun for babies!
