What a good trip we had this weekend! I was so glad to meet all of my relatives and check out a bit of Mommy's home town. Here I am in St. Louis with Mommy, Daddy, and my Great-Grandma Colba. Mommy's Uncle John stopped by for a bit, too, while we were all there.
Not only did I get to play in Great-Grandma's apartment, but we also braved the dining room for our lunch. Everyone was impressed at my mealtime behavior and I made LOTS of friends :)
Here I am with my Great-Grandma Rothe in Altamont, IL. Daddy and Mommy had a good time visiting with her, but my favorite things were her fun, fluffy slippers. No matter where Mommy set me down or what toys she gave me, I always managed to make my way back to her feet :)
I think my favorite place, though, was Uncle Martin and Aunt Kathy's house. We all were so thankful to stay with them and spend some quality time with them. I liked playing around in their dining room and listening to Uncle Martin's music. Everyone appreciated my dancing :)
All in all, it was a good trip, but I think it may take me awhile to recover. I slept a lot in the car, but by the end of the trip I was very sick of being in my car seat. In fact, the last hour of our 13+ hours in the car was probably the worst for me. Lots of crying until Daddy moved to the back seat to play with me ;)
