I just came in from picking another 40 pounds of tomatoes ... which means that in the past week we've picked close to 100 pounds of tomatoes. The amazing part is that I didn't actually start weighing the buckets until last Sunday, so who knows what we brought in before that. Needless to say, we've had lots of sandwiches with big, slicing tomatoes and also our fair share of tomato-mozzerella salad. By the way, Anna loves them, too ... almost as much as she loves her zucchini ... which we're still harvesting.
Anyway, Matt stayed home with us on Tuesday to help can salsa and to keep and eye on Anna so I could continue working in the kitchen. It certainly paid off since we ended up with 21 quarts of salsa (plus a few cups that we snitched). We were even done relatively early so we decided to go to CamRock park again so Matt could go mountain biking while Anna and I went for a hike (we didn't get lost this time). While waiting for Daddy to return, we checked out the playground equipment; Anna was feeling quite brave and wanted to go down the big slides by herself. Good thing they had really high sides :)

Surprisingly, we've found some time to get out and about in the mornings even though the garden is still keeping me busy. We met up with some friends at a park on Monday and then attended a demo class for Kindermusik on Wednesday. Uncle Adam graciously gave Anna a birthday present of a semester's worth of Kindermusik classes. If Wednesday was any indication, she's going to love it :)
