15 month check-up

Just wanted to give a quick update since Anna had her 15 month check-up this morning. All went well and, believe it or not, but we're done with shots now until the kindergarten screening ... hooray! Of course, there will still be flu shots, but at least we get a break from vaccines for awhile ;)

Here's Anna's stats:
height: 31 inches (67%)
weight: 23 lb. 12 oz. (64%)
(this was on a total empty stomach since Anna pretty much chose not to eat breakfast this morning ... she made up for it after the appt. though :)
head circumference: 48 cm (95%)

Yesterday I showed Anna how to wear a backpack, but she preferred this method. She got a kick out of putting it on and taking it off over and over and over again. She didn't really even care that she could put things into it.

Crazy kid has picked up a few more words and signs lately, too. She can now say "ma" and "up" pretty well, sometimes even when not prompted. Yesterday she finally got the sign for book and has been using it a lot since then. She has also been using the sign for hat and helmet (patting her head) for awhile. She's pretty good with pointing out her body parts now, too ... besides just the belly button :)
